Master Key

I’ve been seeing the quote “ Don’t put the keys to your happiness in someone else’s pocket “ a lot lately.  And I realize through my own life how true that statement really is.
It is really quite shocking when you think of how many people have access to you and different parts of your Life.  Your partner, your kids, your employer,  your friends, your extended family, and that’s just a start.  Each one of these people holds a key that operates a part of you. When your life is in balance it all works great. But when it’s not look out, the walls could come tumbling down.
It’s kinda like having a house with a Master Key.  You have lots of rooms in your house. And you have access to all the rooms. Your Master Key lets you open and closes any door at any timeYou're in total control.  But as you start to pass out keys to others make sure their key only unlocks the room that pertains to them. Some people may have more access to more rooms, and some may only make it to the front door. Remember it’s your house. You get to decide. And if you gave someone a key and they cause nothing but chaos in your life. Trying to enter rooms you don’t want them in, trying to take over your house, and jeopardizing your happiness.You can always lock them out. Take back their key.Sometimes it’s necessary to do a little house cleaning. Clean out those junk drawers and get rid of those keys that don’t pertain to your life anymore. Only keep the keys that enhance and promote a happy, healthy, stable home. And never give anyone your Master Key.
